Baeksang Awards menjadi salah satu penghargaan paling bergengsi di Korea Selatan, di mana penghargaan-penghargaan tersebut ditujukan untuk kategori aktor, aktris, film, serial TV, hingga teater. Melansir Epic Stream, Baeksang Awards sendiri dinilai seperti penghargaan Oscar versi Korea Selatan, Beauties.
Telah diadakan sejak tahun 1965, ajang Baeksang Awards akan kembali diadakan di tahun 2022 ini, tepatnya menjadi penghargaan Baeksang Awards ke-58.
